Heather is a licensed massage therapist and certified lymphedema therapist. She grew up in Kentucky, lived in Pensacola for a bit, moved to Nashville in 2005 and has called Fairview home since 2014. She has a cat, Kitty, and a number of woodland critters who call her yard home, including a demanding box turtle and a rather surly groundhog she calls Chester.
After spending the last several years working remotely in health information management, Heather began to feel a bit isolated and disconnected from her community. So, she went to massage school, graduated in 2022, and began working as a solo practitioner. Heather truly believes in the healing power of human touch and that connection has been essential in her own health and wellness journey. Her goals as a therapist include helping people relax and relieving pain (of course), but more importantly she wants to help them feel at home in their own bodies.
Heather is so grateful for the community she has found at Alma and in Kingston Springs. She hopes to see you on her table soon.
