Emily grew up right here in Kingston Springs and now lives in Nashville with her lovely husband, Ryan, and their dog, Scout. She is a seamstress and pattern maker by trade, as well as a professor at Belmont. She has been teaching yoga for
the last five years and has been practicing many more than that. As she is generally taking on too many things at once, teaching at Alma gives her space to pause and breathe. Kingston Springs is truly her home and it has been so, so special to get to serve this beautiful community in a way that's so close to her heart. Her yoga practice has given her so many tools that bring her peace in her everyday life. It has taught her how strong she is, mentally and physically. Yoga has brought her back to herself again and again and again - She is so happy to share that with anyone who shows up to class.
